I’ll Stand By You, Moyes

Sort of angry fans chant the name of David Moyes should be sacked after a miserable streak in their several latest performances. In other hand, some fans still believing with Management choose. Manchester United only grabs one win from their five latest performances. That’s a very disappoint performances. One of my friend is a fan of MU, and after the match he sang The Pretenders Song, I’ll stand by you. He said it was a way for him to keep believing and stand by Moyes.

If tried to be honest, when we heard “Manchester United”, most of us should admit that the Red Devils is one of the best football clubs around the world. With so many glorious history, under Sir Alex Ferguson charging for twenty six years. In the first year, Sir Alex Ferguson had struggled to bring joy for Theater of Dreams and won the first title after three years. Right now, the successor of Ferguson, David Moyes has the similar fate, has some concern continuing that. Not the last at least, after disappointed match versus Fulham, Manchester United will face one of contenders for the title, Arsenal in their town tomorrow.

Ferguson inheritances the winning squad for Moyes, included Robin van Persie, Shinji Kagawa, De Gea and several 2009 Champion League winners like Rooney, Carrick, Evra, and Vidic. All of these names are champs. After over a half of year, there is no reason for Moyes brought eight lost and five draws as compensation of adaptability of his first charge in United.  Moreover, in the summer transfer, Moyes bring Fellaini out from his former club, Everton although desperate chasing several marquee names like Marchisio and Vidal which both of them owned by Juventus, Di Maria (Real Madrid) or Herrera (Atletic Bilbao). In winter transfer, Moyes makes Manchester United broke the club transfer’s record for arriving of Juan Mata, which spent around 37 milion pounds. But all of these didn’t help too much.

As Manchester United will face Arsenal in Emirates Stadium tomorrow night, it seems Manchester United would delay their hope to get winning way back. Arsenal is chasing top of the table which had stolen by Chelsea last week, and not give any mercy for Manchester United misery. And if could be happen, should the angry fans have forgiven for Moyes? In my mind, I doubt about that. When Bobby Shankly made one of the best quotes in Football: If you can’t support us when we draw or lose, don’t support use when we win”, he teach fans how about passion and loving the favorite club and stand by it when didn’t get a win. Moyes on the top being scapegoat of United suffer, but blame and sacked him isn’t the best option. As long as management keep believing in Moyes, the fans suppose to stand by him till find a way back and out of harm. And the last, I wanna sing a song for Moyes, a song from The Pretenders. I’ll stand by you, I’ll stand by you, won’t let nobody hurt you. I’ll stand by you, take me in, into your darkness hour, and I’ll never desert you, and I’ll stand by you.
