Astonishing Liverpool shows great performance as they beat Fulham 3-2 in Craven Cottage

The Reds Keeping Marvelous Dream

Liverpool visit The Craven Cottage in the Premier League midweek match day, for facing Fulham. When Chelsea got a draw result, Arsenal face difficult game in big match versus Manchester United, and in another hand, Manchester City unable using Emirates Stadium, Brendan Rodgers instruct his player to secure three points which help them approach top of the table. In the match, Liverpool conceded first by Toure mistake when tried to pass the ball away, but got misdirection way and make Fulham lead. Then several seconds before the first whistle, Sturridge brought Liverpool out an equal goal. In the second tempo, Liverpool conceded again by former England national team player, Kieran Richardson. Several minutes after that, Sturridge came become a protagonist and assist Coutinho for making goal. In the last minutes of the match, Gerrard Penalty made Liverpool win the match.

This result made Liverpool reduce the gap with Chelsea, top of the table, with only four points. The fact makes some verdict that Liverpool shall be considered as a contender. Unless Chelsea and Arsenal failed to win over the coming match again, Liverpool can take advantages secure the top of the table. Liverpool also has some advantages as good as they were considered as contender. The first is they don’t play in European competition. Liverpool has more energy, more fitness, less injury risk than Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City which still remain in European competition. The second reason is Liverpool has advantages when face the contenders entirely this season. Liverpool will meet Manchester City and Chelsea in Anfield stadium, and when it happens, the first place players which suffer injury like Lucas, Sakho and Enrique should be available in these matches.

On the latest match several hours ago, Brendan Rodgers should be happy for the result but, the team left some notice. Although the squad played bravely and never stop to demolish Fulham defense, the fact is they can’t score winning goal until the referee give a Penalty kick for Anfield boys. He admits that he should proud with Sturridge performance, but not ignore that Suarez never find a net in three latest performances left some slightly concern in his mind. The missing of Lucas made Rodgers should take decision put either Gerrard or Allen as replacement. Therefore, Coutinho will fill the Gerrard position and Suarez will play from the left side. Although Suarez still get the big shoot on every performance, but the new position significantly reduce the possibility he write his name down on the score chart. For a player who had netted 23 goals from less than 21 games this seasons, fail to score on three latest performances was a big deal. No matter what Rodgers though about his game but fast or slow, lack of confidence will meet Suarez and determine the entire squad. And if it happens, Liverpool have serious problem in the rest of this season.

Least not at last, Liverpool on great campaign for reign their aims. Their objective season is seal a spot for playing in European Champions League next season, or in another names, they should get at least the fourth position on the table. As long as they still consider as a contender, the objective will meet them on the end of season. With only four point’s gap which separates them with Chelsea, the current top of the table, upgrading the season objectives isn’t a fault. Even if they don’t finish the season with new champions status, what Anfield Gank shows entirely this season should be appreciate. Yeah, they are back. The Anfield Gank is back. The Reds is back. You’ll never walk alone (again).
